How low will it go ?

ok some light comedy for you folks,

working on some major undervolting of the thrive, im taking guesses on how far i can push the voltage drops before it crashes due to lack of power.

    for your info :
stock voltage levels (all are in mV)
    clock speed: 216, 312, 456, 608, 760, 816, 912, 1000, 1232, 1336, 1424, 1472, 1544, 1592, 1656, 1680
    voltage:.......750, 775, 800, 850, 875, 900, 950, 975, 1125, 1200, 1250, 1275, 1350, 1425, 1450, 1450

and currently im running the following voltages :
    clock speed: 216, 312, 456, 608, 760, 816, 912, 1000, 1232, 1336, 1424, 1472, 1544, 1592, 1656, 1680
    voltage:.......650, 700, 725, 775, 800, 825, 850, 875, 1050, 1200, 1250, 1275, 1350, 1425, 1450, 1450

place your guesses folks what should i try

im only working on the clocks up to 1.2 at moment

    Try this: 600, 650, 675, 725, 750, 775, 800, 825, 1000, 1125, 1175, 1250, 1300, 1325, 1375, 1425
I know nothing about this, so I apologize in advance if this goes terribly wrong.

As long as the smoke seals remain intact there should be no real damage. LOL

He's been playing with a bunch of different levels and it's getting some remarkable results for the power consumption.

    [13/10/2011 09:25:18] <@DJ_Steve> 456mhz stable at 50mv under stock for 216mhz
    [13/10/2011 09:28:00] <@DJ_Steve> vdd_cpu 700 mV:
    [13/10/2011 09:28:00] <@DJ_Steve> cpu 456000000 700 mV
That's saying at more than twice the speed of the lowest clock speed, we can operate with less power than that lowest speed is set stock. Undervolting; getting the same speed for less cost of battery usage.

Some caveats to this: Not every processor will handle the same way with different speeds, or voltages. Although safer than overclocking, undervolting is unpredictable per unit. Hence, stock uses a set power consumption table for that cpu expected by the manufacture of the cpu. Lower voltage may work on steve's, but may not work on yours. Just by the microscopic differences in, manufacturing, up to the metal or component integrity in the cpu. So your mileage may vary.

Can you post the one you're using with the 650mv. @216mhz beta 3 if possible.

Other than this I would like to guess how many extra hours your Thrive's battery can last for after UV
