Possible dev/learning/teaching team for thrive and other devices

Ok I said I was going to post this so here it is. Please excuse spelling and grammer as im typing on my phone.

I'm highly considering trying to get together a group of users/helpers to form a small team of people who help/dev for thrive and possibly other devices also and also to help me and any other experianced devs teach the less experianced users more about development and how/what to do. It would not be anything formal jus a team of people who enjoy modifying/hacking/learning about more advanced things they can do. Ive thought about dling this a few times now as the sort of community spirit that seems to be evident in any android device forums is like nothing ive ever seen before. Everyone helps everyone else where they can even if its new users helping other new users.. And I think its about time I put my skills to use helping others learn the more advanced things they can do. And itll help me out also as if the team worked on one main build at a time it would be developed faster and get more feature rich and stable over time... Kind of like how cyanogenmod has evolved since cyanogens first builds for the g1.

Would also be looking for people to possibly do video demos/howtos for new roms etc

So anyway who would be interested in this. Anyone is welcome of course

    Cheers

I'm not programmer, can do beta testing as i love to do it. If there are some simple things you think I can learn, will be glad to do so. I'm always willing to learn. Good with a computer.

You're the best, Steve. I'd like to participate. My qualifications are pretty modest: modest working knowledge of basic Unix some 20 years old, but I can read a man page as good as the next guy. Used to be pretty OK with Perl, but it's not like riding a bike. Wicked good with SQL, both queries and schemas...which should, I think translate over to SQLite(?). Basic reading knowledge of C++, but nobody in their right mind wants me coding in it. Strong opinions and weak skills regarding human factors and interface design, having managed the development of more than a few bioinformatics products. In short, few useful skills, but plenty of curiousity and enthusiasm.
It's anybody's guess whether I'm rooted or unrooted today. Lately I've been back and forth so many times I'm losing track...

I'm in, I'm a IT consultant but a noob when it comes to Linux, windows/networks are my thing, but I'm good with all electronics, learn quick, I love beta testing, I don't mind flashing devices multiple times a day :-)
