The ROM in this thread is rooted. If you truly want out of the box unrooted, you need [ROM] DaleNet HMJ37.01.5.0032 Fully Stock ROM (US HC 3.1)

    Just the ROM (first line).
The rest are for compatibility of the PlayStore with some games.

    Good morning everyone.
I have rooted my thrive with the easy root tool and I'm ready for the 4.0.4 rom. My problem is I do not have nandroid to backup my thirve (as recommended) before flashing the 4.0.4 rom. Do I need to update my CWM to get nandroid to do this? The only other question I have is what size SD card should I use for this last rom update?
Thanks for the help and have a great day,
    Fred

Fred, if you have CWM, you have Nandroid. Just boot into recovery and select backup. That is Android backup. Size of SD card is you choice, but a backup and a ROM will take most of 2 gigs. Most people are using 16 gb or more. Be sure to buy the fast speed cards and format fat32. Lots of problems with micro cards so I would stay away from those.

Now running ICS and it looks great. Just have to sort out the issue with my TL games now.
    Thanks anyway.
How did you copy the new boot image across.

I'm also from Aussie and looks like I need to also install the boot image that was mentioned

    Thanks
