Hi. Is there any chane the IMM76D.08.000090513 build will be added to the tool? I've been trying to root my toshiba for years and I never found a tool that supports specifically this build.

Sorry to say but the developers of the ROMs of this tablet are gone.

Unless you can find it here in this forum, you will be out of luck. Did you do an advanced search on this forum?

    LG G Stylo (MetroPCS)•Katana ROM (5.1.1)

Note: I have removed v2.8 until I can figure out why it is not working correctly. Version 2.7 is reposted for now.

What are you trying to root? Like the build version.

Been a while since I visited the forum, things are slowing to a crawl! I never bothered to download the later versions after rooting my Thrive. I still have version 2.2 of the flash tool which I used to root my HTK55D.31.5.0003 Thrive tablet. I currently have Dalepl's rom IMM76D.01.000072314 installed. Keeping up with the spirit of the Thrive Forum I have added the easy flash tool to my MediaFire account. It now available for download along with a myriad of other Thrive related files and ROMS discussed in these forums. They can be found at https://www.mediafire.com/folder/esb...Thrive%20Stuff

    Hope this helps someone!

Edit: I needed to backup a bit. I didn't root version IMM76D.01.000072314, it was HTK55D.31.5.0003. After thinking about this I realized that the version I have on my Thrive was the upgrade to Android 4.04 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Thrive originally had Android 3 Honeycomb which was the version that Dales Easy Flash Tool were designed for. If I remember right if you upgraded to Android 4 from Toshiba version 2.81 will be required. Having said that, AmEv, piomasaki and friends developed a tool for rooting version IMM76D.01.000072314. I never had a need to use it but downloaded it anyway and it can be found on my MediaFire share as well. If I remember right some had success with it and others did not. It is labeled as experimental with the possibility of bricking the Thrive. If you are brave enough to try it look for Thrive-10-inch-ICS-root-master.zip. You may want to search the forums for more info. Pio may be able to weigh in on this tool. He still pops in and out once in a while.

Did a little more digging, if version 2.8.1 of the Easy Flash Tool doesn't show up check this thread and then decide if you want to try the root master I mentioned in previous post.

[root tool} Toshiba Thrive ICS 4.0.4 root tool

I've updated the original post with a new download location, thanks to my accidental discovery that I had 2.8.1 (which I didn't need but fortunately downloaded anyway).

    Failure to root

I have the At100, version 4.0.4, B# IMM76D.01.000072314. I had been waiting for my build to be added to the the easy tool. Now it is. Im running peppermint 7 with a win 7 VM. I can get all the way to the restore my data page but it is asking for encryption passwords. I saw Dalep's comment about you don't need a password. But when I hit the restore button, nothing happens. I've even encrypted and password protected to see if the passwords would help. It doesn't. Multipe factory resests. I thought maby it was taking forever, so I left it overnight. Nothing. Im about 1 step away from "office spacin" this thing. Any help would be much appreciated.
