easy flash wont load to thrive

    Ok, Pio reflashed my thrive last week and now Im setting out to root it and install black bean on it. Using the easy flash tool Im running into a few snags. Took a bit to get the ausb adb drivers installed because Ijust watched the video and went from there. then after a few attempts I stoped and read a bit more. Then I got the drivers installed. Pluged in the tablet to the charger, the the usb cable to both, and started the tool. I selected ro, and option 10 for build HTK55d.31.5.0003. and that's where I have issues.Once it finally sees the device, it begins; cmd as follows;

flashing bootloader image to your device...
/data/local/tmp/blob: cannot open for read: no such file or directory
    rebooting your device....

    waiting for device to reboot...

flashing rooted boot image to your device...
/data/local/tmp/boot.img cannot open for read: no such file or directory
flashing clockworkmod recovery image to your device...
/data/local/tmp/recovery.img cannot open for read: no such file or directory
    rebooting your device...

waiting on your device to boot...

    link failed read-only file system
    repeats 500 times

symbolic links for the busybox binary file have been created...

    rebooting your device...

waiting on your device to boot...

it finishes up goes to the root option screen, no cwm or super user on tablet afterword.
what do I need to do to make this work?

That's an odd one, it hardly ever fails to work with that image of HC on the Thrive. I can only suggest reboot both the Thrive and PC, and try it again, choosing the full run, given that log it was installing CWM anyways, that may be where it broke.

If CWM installed properly, you could just flash a rooted ROM...

Yeah, it seemed like it was installing it, but all a while not seeing the thrive. I understand that while its booting up, the thrive wont be seen. I did notice that after installing the usb adb drivers, when I plugged the thrive into my laptop that it did take a while for the laptop to set up the drivers for it. I had started the root process before I noticed that, but once that finished, the tool then started the flash. Ill reboot both here in a bit and give it another try. CWM wasnt in the boot menu now was superuser in the app screen after it was finished.

Rebooted it all and it installed now. But now to figure out why it wont back up. Errors out right away. Couldn't get it to find the path right away, then looked up the error and found info on the sd card causing some errors, so I removed a the stuff off that since it wasn't needed. At least starts backup now before failing out. Back to researching I guess, and finding a new keyboard for my laptop....
