Hello all. Well as some of you know, I was pointed to the Jenkins site to auto build ClockWorkMod recovery and thought I would give it a try. This site will allow you to build a standard button enabled ClockWorkMod Recovery or a touch enabled ClockWorkMod Recovery. So, long story short, I built a touch enabled version of ClockWorkMod Recovery for the Thrive 10". The first one did not come out too well. Although it seemed to work OK, the resotres woukd not work. That was ClockWorkMod version 220.127.116.11. I was told that the site was updated to fix this issue, so here we are again. This is ClockWorkMod version 18.104.22.168. I have not tested all the functions. Anyway, here it is:
DaleNet-Thrive_10-ClockWorkMod_Touch_Recovery-v2.0 (MD5 Checksum Value: b0678a8987149680045891e1f8d45691)
OK, here is the previous ClockWorkMod (v22.214.171.124) if you need it:
DaleNet-Thrive_10-ClockWorkMod_Update-v1.0 (MD5 Checksum Value: 0e5545d1473a8f7c0345ec99a5f37e0f)
To install the new recovery image do the following:
The site I used to build the recovery image can be found here: Recovery Builder
- Power down your device.
- Unzip the file and copy the update.zip to the root of your external SD card.
- Boot the device into ClockWorkMod Recovery.
- Select INSTALL UPDATE FROM SDCARD.
- Select APPLY /SDCARD/UPDATE.ZIP.
- Select YES - INSTALL /SDCARD/UPDATE.ZIP.
- Watch the ROM install on your device.
- When completed, select GO BACK and then select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW.
I take no credit for this. All credit goes to kouch. All I did was use his WEB tool to bring you a touch version of his ClockWorkMod for our beloved Thrive. Please let me know if this works OK for all of you.
Thanks to WhiteHatHacker for pointing me to the site.
