Thread: PLease verify a few things about ROOTING & FLASHING a custom ROM for the uninformed.

    If you've bought them online from Amazon or Google Books, they should be downloadable again. If like me you've converted free e-books and put them locally to be read with the Kindle app, you have to save them manually.

    In most cases the actual ebook files are stored in internal memory. These need to be saved/copied to external memory before flashing a new ROM. Titanium Backup will backup an ereader's settings, but not the actual ebooks.
