This story is especially important for our male readers out there... we have some sad news to share with you. You spouse/significant other may be having an affair... an affair with their tablet device. Apparently, according to a recent survey, 1/4 of women surveyed would rather give up sex for a year than give up their tablets for a year. (scary thought of the day - if that trend increases our species could be doomed!!!!)

Yahoo! recently performed a survey regarding tablet habits in the average American household. Their results were quite intriguing to say the least. Here's a breakdown of the most interesting tidbits:

• 62% of all U.S. tablet owners now say they use their tablets on a daily basis with an average use of 2.4 hours per day
• 15% would give up their car for an entire year to be able to keep their tablet!
• Tablets are now the second most fought over device in the living room, just behind desktops/laptops, and ahead of TV remotes.
• A third of men frequently take their tablet to the bathroom.
• Forty percent of women never take the tablet to the bathroom.
• Twenty percent of women are happy to give up sex to keep their tablet.
• Only half as many men would give up sex for their tablet (13%).
• The tablet is the go-to wind-down device: 91% use their tablet in bed.

So, gentlemen, the next time you see your female in bed with her tablet, just take a moment to tease her. You might say something like, "Hey! Get your boyfriend out of my bed!"

Toshiba's newest tablet the Excite 10 is now available starting at $450 dollars. The new quad-core 10-inch tablet has some impressive specs and of course Toshiba's excellent quality. Here's a feature recap:

This is a powerful and robust feature-set! There are 3 models available that only have differing storage capacities. The 16GB model will sell for $450, the 32GB will sell for $530, and a 64GB model for $650. (Currently only the 16GB and the 32GB are available, although you can pre-order the 64GB version)

A new tablet just passed through the FCC, and you could be forgiven if you mistook it for a laptop at first glance. The Toshiba Excite 13.3 inch tablet has a display that is reminiscent of some laptops. Of course, we shared it with you guys already, but now that it jumped through the governmental hoops, it is soon to arrive in the retail channel. The tablet will start selling in the U.S. in June for $650 dollars and up. Here's a spec recap on case you missed previous announcements:

• NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor
• 1GB of RAM
• 32GB to 64GB of storage
• Google Android 4.0
• 802.11b/g/n WiFi.
• Full-sized USB ports, an HDMI port, and a full-sized SD card slot
• Tablet measures about 0.4 inches thick, and weighs 2.2 pounds

While Toshiba has only announced plans to sell a 32GB model (for $649.99) and 64GB model (for $749.99), FCC documents show that there could be a 16GB version as well. How many of you guys could see yourselves using a tablet this big?

We have some news from Toshiba this morning. The company officially launched their new Excite line of Android Tablets. Toshiba has taken things to a new level with the Excite, by heavily stepping up the specs, reducing the size and weight, and adding a unique new size category, the monstrous 13-inch tablet! For reference, there are several specs that all of these tablets have in common. Here is a list of all the specs that they all have, and then below that we have each individual tab with their differences:
